Webb lake bait
« on: Mar 23, 2009, 07:36 PM »
Does anyone know where to buy bait near Webb Lake in Weld?  I'm fishing there tomorrow and don't want to drive too many extra miles for bait.

Its about 50 miles in the other direction. But I will keep it in mind if I fish Bryant Pond before the end of the season.

That's the closest place I know of.  I was hoping to avoid having to drive down to Farmington.

I bought bait at Jack's.  Nice and lively,  medium size.  32 extra miles of driving to get there and back so I bought enough for a few outings.  All in all it was a nice day to be outside but I didn't catch anything worth bragging about.  Maineduckhunter and Pikeslammer,  thanks for your offers but Rangeley to Rumford or Hanover to Weld is the long way top get there.  Roxbury tomorrow.
