So, I'm in NB, Canada for a few days and had to pick up some supplies at the local store. Naturally, I wondered over into the "fishing" department. They had HT tip ups (with line) marked down to $2 - Canadien. That's $1.85 at the current rate of exchange. I bought 5 to rig shallow for brook trout. 5 traps with line for $9.25!!

You should have put a nite-crawler on those lines and trolled for a canadian on the way out!!!

no scott on a seriouse note that is a great deal....they will make great brookie traps.... but if you were to troll for cubans may i suggest 50 lb mono(dont need floro carban not to smart) and 2 ought hook with...any a green card as bait...should do well gl..tight lines to you
