Who is going for sure? It doesn't seem that many people are going because of valentines day **censored**

It sure would be nice to meet some of you guys, BS and have a few cold ones, oh yeah catch some fish too!! So who will be there?

yeah I hear Ya it can't be much worse than Creek last weekend! It doesn't look like many people from here are going to be there Big Hof and I will be there Friday - Sunday so I am looking forward to meeting some new guys to fish with.

we will be there on friday around noon and stay until sunday morning. I have a blue silverado and will have the enclosed trailer "shanty" and a red honda 4-wheeler. I think that we are going to try to go south of the island. hope to see you guys up there!

I am strongly thinking of going up on Friday. The weather forcast is good. 10 to about 30 degrees, maybe some snow and wind forcast 10 to 15 mph. Should be a good tourney if the wind forcast is accurate.

I will be driving a gray 2008 GMC crew cab pulling a 5th wheel camp trailer and small 4 wheel trailer. Watch for hunter orange on the trailer. Stop by. Ding.

I am getting pretty excited about this weekend.... weather looks good. Should be there around 1-2 on friday afternoon. I got an Ice report today and it sounds like it is holding up pretty well, few spots with standing water yesterday but it should freeze up today and tonight. All the tip-ups are rigged and ready, auger is full of gas, beer is cold and brats will start thawing out tomorrow. Ice freek has a blue silverado, and I have a Black silverado... we'll be around

I heard they have been hitting on glow jigs tipped with salted minnows..... other than that not too sure, probably gonna try out the buckshot rattlespoon or a chubby darter if they dont hit on that

crap..... It is 2AM and I cannot sleep, excited to get out on the ice I guess. Not leaving until 8. Got a big old case of the what if's, that will keep your mind going about that 10# eye or 20# pike.

Bighof and Icefreek stopped by the trailer and we hooked up for fishing the derby. Since I started putting my gear out before daylight I couldn,t find them until a little later. About noon I moved my stuff over by them. I caught one nice pike (about 4 lbs?) after the derby ended. They had around a half doz. nice ones and Bighof iced a nice ling this AM.

I ran across the Da-Jigger and BS'ed a little then couldn't find him again.

The derby winner was 13+lbs for the pike and the perch was around 1.25 lbs.

Weather was a bit chilly and foggy in the AM but got nice lster in the day. Wind only about 10 mph. It was good.

If ya ever get a chance Bighof makes some great chilly and an apple cider drink with Everclear. (hic). Good stuff.

That was me catching ling and makeing chilly! But hey it was great to met you and we are still planning on going to Beaver Creek on Wednesday if you want to go along. anyway fun derby, met some new friends and ran into some old ones! I can't wait until next time!

I live just a few blocks East of Eddies Supper Club.
If you are on base, it would not be too far out of the way for you to stop by.
