I can't get my picture to show up after entering the address in "got my own pic". What am I doing wrong?

The picture needs to already reside somewhere on the web, you can't just link to your home computer. If it's on the web make sure the address is correct. What is the address of the picture?

Mine is:

http://www.kneedeepclub.org/Images/fishride.gif

Click on it it should work.
Yours should be in a similar format.

The link works so the address is not the problem. It must be something with Sharemation and their access. Sorry I couldn't help, looks like my site is down so my picture doesn't come up now either.  ??? It seems to be acting up, time to drop back and punt - try it again tommorrow.

Anyway munskyman, I tried putting your picture as my avatar and it didn't work for me either even though its a valid link.
 ??? I don't know what the problem is.

Pictures for profiles/avatars are supposed to be 120 pixels x 120 pixels. Pictures in posts 400 pixels wide max.

If you need help scaling your pictures down read:

If cropping and re-sizing pictures still baffles you, send them to me via e-mail and tell me if you want an avatar/profile size (120p x 120p) or a 400 pixel wide image for post. :'(
