On 12Jan2002 fished Eagle Lake. 6" + of ice on the west end. Caught about 50 perch between me and my brother, nothing big enough to keep or write home about. Some one did land a 12" jumbo and I Saw a couple of pike on the ice as well. Fished from 7am to 11am. Bring your money for parking at the end of minnetonka drive, because they are passing out tickets for unpaid parking.

caught lots of small perch. largest 9". lots of
bluegills 3-8". some northerns 3-5pds mostly on tip-ups
ice at 6-8 inches. lots of snow cant see open water
if you had better luck than me, let me know.

fished eagle today 4-5'' of good ice out from boat lacunh open spots on other side though
no bites
