went out on little sturgeon this past weekend, there is about 12-14 inches of ice out there. Very safe to fish out there and catching lots of perch. I think I caught my limit in about 4 hours on Sunday. 3/3/02

1-5-02 Catching perch in 15-20 feet of water. Some crappie and northern activity also. Conditions decent. Approximately 6-8 inches of ice at present time.

Nothing at the Stone Quarry on 4-2-01. Saw a 35 inch northern taken on a large golden shiner in 20' of water. The big guys should be coming in soon.
Remember, relase those big ones if you're not going to mount 'em.
