Was on kentuck 1-19-02. Wasn't much happening anywhere. Moved around alot w/ vex, what marked didn't bite. Seen that the DNR must be ready to move out some cribs and brush piles out on the ice. I'm afraid this lake may have more problems than they say.

could someone explain to me the study that is going on for kentuck? 1 fish 28"? are there any limits for the spearing that will happen on the lake come spring ? this lake has really been screwed up,why not just prohibit walleye fishing all together?Is the crappie population still going through the roof? The balance on this lake is way out of proportion,thanks to so called sportsman over fishing it,let me take that back,not over fishing it,over harvesting it. I here the guides really hit it hard years back and overharvested the musky which through of the balance I am on the right track? wait and watch for more lakes to have the same thing happen to them,as it is you dont fish a natural lake anymore you fish the DNR's aqauriums

you can keep one walleye per day, and the size limit is 28". GOOD LUCK fished kentuck 1-14, 7 small perch all day moved all day long w/ vex.

I knew there were walleye in here, but how many? I heard there were very few, but they were big. How has the fishing been so far this winter??
