hi bob and valarie ice looks good at wilhelm. will be on ice early. ice is slick on top so bring ice cleats and be careful. shore ice is not as good so pick where you go on and off. ice on lake appears to be 4to6. hasve fun and be safe. rodger

ice at dam area is 4 to 5 inches. fish were caught in 15 to 21ft. one nice bass on rattling spoon. this message is for v. becker. send e mail address for more info.

fished staturday at launch 3 NO GOOD, ice is only about 3" and makes ya nervous fishing in 12' of water. Talked to fish warden he said ice is not safe yet at launch 4. and this (meaning launch 3) doesn't look much better. Only caught a few gill and no crappie

ice in no motor area is from 2.5 to 4.5 inches and there is a real good bluegill bite going on. be safe and stay dry. rodger

was on ice on the 29. drilled five holes in five ft. of water and fished for a while. did not feel real safe about it. most of lake was still open. will be back at it on the first. there was almost two inches of ice but probably one half inch was not good. i will post again probably on the first of the new year. be safe. rodger
