6-8 inches bluegill and bass hitting intermitently

Fished Kahle Lake on Sunday Feb. 4th, two fisherman-7hrs produced two nice largemouths and three small perch. Know the nice perch are there but it is hard to get them on the ice. Any suggestions out there? Thanks,Schug.
