Went out this past Tues from 12-5:30. Got about 60-70 gills and crappie, mostly all small, but fun. Did catch 1 slab crappie. Ran 4 tipups with shiners, 2 flags up but no takers. Temp of 50* made it way to nice! Fished to the left of the church in aprrox. 7-9' All panfish on tiny minniefoo/maggot(black) Probally heading back up Mon.

Didnt have any luck today had 10 tip ups in missed 2 had no luck rest of day even tried jigging no luck good fishing and be safe.Did see a dandy perch caught on tip up some nice bass too. Martin luther king day.

I live less than a mile from Unionvill Fire hall and it only take me 14 minutes to get there. So it is not that far out of town. There are some gills and a few crappie. I have done better on them there in the summer than winter though. I caught the heck out of the trout it was well worth the trip. I may hit it tonight for a few to do some giggen.

Soott, thanks for the info! I was thinking this was a cove on Moraine!! Is there any panfish to speak of? I usually stick around down here(Raccoon or Bradys Run) when going for trout.

Take 308 North from butler, I forget the road name that you turn right onto. This road would take you to 38 at the second blinking light if you make no turns on it. I think it is 108 or 138 go to your second rd take a left harbor will be off to your right((keep in mind this is a secondary rd)). It is a small lake that the game commission stalks fish. They stalked 2100 trout two week ago. There is a off season limit of three fish per person now. Lots of good fish and fun it can get crowded on the weekends.

I hit Shannons bay on 01-06-02, caught a some bass a few pike no pan fish though. I crushed them at harbor archer though on Friday 4th night and Sat 5th morning.

I was on the ice today. We caught 50+ bluegill 1 pearch. There was 4-5 inches of ice. We had 14 tipups in and caught NOTHING!!!! They went up from the wind sometimes. THE BITE IS ON!!!!!!!!!!!

MUDDYCREEK/528 ACCESS AREA LOOKS TO BE THE HOT SPOT AT THIS TIME! 4"TO 5" OF ICE. THEY ARE CATCHING BLUEGILL,PERCH AND BASS NO REPORTS ON CRAPPIE,WALLEYE OR PIKE AS OF NOW. MAIN LAKE HAS OPEN CRACKS AND PRESSURE RIDGES. GOOD LUCK GOOD FISHING AND GOD BLESS. AND SAVE ME SOME FISH.

5 to 6 inches of ice as of 12-19-00 Bass fishing and pan fish are doing well a few pike here and there. I fished for two hours Mysalf and a friend we cought 8 bass and had 12 flags.
