This info comes from a very reliable source and without a doubt is accurate in all respects.
The Bay of Quinte area has iced over and fisherman are venturing out. Generally, 3 to 6 inches are present but extreme caution is advised especially in the Narrows where unseen current always makes that area a real threat to saftey. Also as always, areas with snow cover are best avoided. Anyway, fishing is slow but that is due to not many anglers and the restricted movement of the ones that are there....These conditions should rapidly improve and it wont be long till the 10 lbers are flopping on the ice!
