Slaughtering the pound crappies on fish. Go strait of from the bech in the hole and thats the key. Also hittin some sauger with some surprise.still safe to drive. joey coughlin (a kid i know) had great luck out there. "Jerkin" off the bottom with a flick of his wrist.

There are large numbers of crappies being caught in the 40 foot hole where the first group is located. The common size is about 8 inches but, there are possible one pound and bigger white crappies on occasion.

Edward lake in Maple Grove has been producing slab crappies and a few walleyes lately in twelve feet of water. Go straight out from the access about 100 yards. The best time is sunrise and sunset.
