Lake Sarah is loaded with nice size crappies. If you want to catch a limit of 10-12 inchers than this is the place. Fish the points at first ice using minnows on a plain hook or small two-spots tipped with maggots. The western 40 foot hole holds fish most of the season and is your best bet for night fishing. Crappies will school here in large numbers and will bite well into the night. 1.5 pounders are not uncommon and I have seen a few 2 pounders pull up in the past. Make sure you stake claim by 4pm because action will start to pick up.
