do NOT listen to that kid... if you want to catch fish, especially perch, go out towards the red buoy off the old steel building. we have caught many perch up to 12-1/2 inches, that was the biggest. usually they are more around the 8-10 inch range.

Hi whoever is fishing in little bay of mich i have some tips and some locations for you. If you like big pike i sugest fishing around the fishing peer in kipling by the bait shop. this spot is also good for jumbo pearch using treble hokes with four inch minnows or suckers or tear drops and wax worms. If you are looking for walleye i know of a couple great spots. Halfway across the lake near the center reef in about 32 ft of water. i have caught a 25 inch 5 pound walleye. and at the same time a neighbor caught a 28 inch 6.5 pound walleye. If you happen to find this spot dont get dicouraged there are a lot of tiny ones there too. just wait it out. Another great spot is first you have to find the red buey(sorry cant spell) then head south east But more east.Or just find the first spot then head dirrectly south. But for early season walleye head over toward masonville. a lot of big walleye have been getting caght. from masonvill all the way over to the bagavon.
