Please check the ice before u tread out to youe favorite fishing spot. Ice is running about 5"-7" but there are large, open cracks.

The Lake yielded a 20# pike and a walleye that was 13# last couple of days. Fishing is generaly slow right now. Perch are running small.

F.Y.I Muskegon Lake has plenty of good ice. Good catches of pike reported using tip ups and jigging. Golden shiners about 3' off bottom should net u some action. Try the areas near 1st St. in No. Muskegon or off Johnson's point.
Perch and other pan fish have been slow. Walleyes are steady but u have to put some time in on the ice.
Check in with Bruce at the Angler Archer in No. Muskegon when u get bait. He can give u the very latest info.
