There has been some action on the ice the past 2 weeks.
I'm going out for crappie tonight. I hear pike and some pan fish is doing well.

The ice has been poor this whole season so far. The best it had been was 5 inches the 2nd week in January. This lake is great for night time Crappie fishing. A glow in the dark tear-drop with a wax worm is the ticket for thes fish. I know a guy who uses a 12v powered green light to attract them at night. It works great, but with unsafe ice, what's the point in going out?
