Fishing fair in the north bays with 3-4" of ice as of 12/08/00 at 8:00pm. just came in with 20 nice red ears and bluegills after about 3 hours on the ice.

Spent all day on east end of lake 12-28-00. Caught many fish,but could not locate the 9in. plus gills.there were around 75 fisherman, but everyone was having the same problem.Ice is wellover a foot thick.

Ice is good on the east side of the lake, 4 inches in the large bay with snow covering all the ice. The campground bay had a few guys on it and the Conservation Officer said that it was about the same thickness. The main lake hasn't had anyone on it yet to know how thick, and I hate swimming this time of year.
