I am a fisherman in western massachusetts. Through years of ice fishing I have noticed a considerable amount of luck when water actually rises from the hole during high temperature changes. Dont be afraid to fish when a cold day turns warm and sends water heavily to the surface. Obviously be aware of to crazy a temp. change.
