Panfish: Shallow water, I like the simple fibergalss rods with the wind-wheel reels, and a slip bobber. Deep water- I use a 24-30 inch rod, and ultralight spinning reels I like chartreuse or red or pearl or hot pink for colors, combination of these and so forth. I still believe in the theory that you'll catch more on a bait that you're confident in! For larger fish, I jig alot of Swedish pimples( I swear they'll catch most anything!) in various sizes and colors, depending on species, and tend to stick with a medium action rod. Good fishing |
