Sometimes when I'm fishing for perch or bluegills they come up to the jig@bait then go back down.I've found if I drop it to within a foot of the fish and just shake the heck out of the jig the fish will take it!My buddies all laugh at me because I tell them I'm ticking off the fish-so they named it "the pi--ing off the fish technique". Good Luck, Doug

I agree. I found that to work numerous times. All it takes sometimes is just constant aggravasion and the fish will strike.

I learned a tip last season that makes fish bite if they follow your bait up. All you have to do is raise your bait 6" at a time. Pause a while, just twitching your bait, if no strike, go up another 6". Sometimes they go back down and then all you do is just start over again! Hope this helps! Good luck!

Yes I have used these techniques as well and they do work. The key thing is if you dont have a flasher you wont know what these fish are doing. I have caught alot of bass and pike with a swedish pimple by doing that.
