i owe a few windglass tipups and i find them very nice. how ever i don't use a jig or anything for walleyes i just put a sinker on the end of the line and attacha minnow to either a treble hook or a two hook treble hook. i find that the minnow swimming around on its own seems to work quit well. also i postion the back of the tip up into the wind. i found this increases the bobbing motion of the tipup. i have been quit sucessful with these tip ups. i have caught anywere from 1 to 5 pound waleyes useing them this way. |
