Dear Kevin, Inquiring about your use of jigs tied in tandem for catching crappies. How do you tie these jigs on to the line to make them hang natural? What kind of knot do you use? I would also like to know what pound test line you use,how you detect bites and how do you fish the jigs. Thanks for your help and good fishin... |

Posted At 20:50:47 02/04/2002 Does anyone on the forum have knowledge of the system of "bright lining" using "ice flies" which a man named Larry Stanley from Indiana developed? He was written up in Crappie Magazine a couple of years back and does quite well on panfish using this system. I have read other articles on variations of this method and would like to hear from anyone who fishes this way. I would particularly like to know how you rig to fish this way, what kind of flies you use and how you detect bites. Thanks for any information.... |
