Dear JP....We are new to this...With one day on the ice (Jan06) we welcome any help...The trout we are after are stocked in lakes and ponds here in NJ...We'd tried using little jigs with marabou, others with feathers, and others that were all metal (silver or gold) that we'd borrowed from other fishermen...The all metal worked the best, actually , were the ONLY ones that worked...But I do have some hollow micro tubes, and though I don't think a rattle will fit in them, I like the idea of putting some "smell" to em...thanks for the tip...Tips up to you!...signed "2new2ice" |
