While fishing over a huge school of suspended crappies last year, I tied on 3 jigs in tandem (all the same), specifically Custom Jigs and Spins glow chartreuse finesse tails on 1/80 oz. jigheads - and no bait. I was catching doubles of crappie and/or yellow perch all day working the top of the school. The tandem rig works well with the smallest marmooska jigs and a maggot on each for finicky bluegills too. |
