I personally have been using the Zercom Clearwater for about 9 yrs with no problems.My frieds have varying models also.The Zercom ColorPoint(like the Vexilar)is very noisy according to my buddy.My other bud has the Zercom RTS(vertical screen)and loves it.It boils down to what works for you-I have had no problems with the LCD's.
