I have a 3hp eskimo with a 10in bit that is 10yrs old, no problems so far. When I bought it I figured bigger was better but that was'nt the case. I soon came to realize that the lighter 2hp models did the same job and you can be more mobile without have to lug this big heavy thing around. I went out and bought the strikemaster laser express with a 7in. bit and this thing is heaven on earth. Cuts fast and is much lighter. I dont think it matters which brand to much just as long as its lighter and runs good, always better than doing them by hand. |
