auger not cutting good, blades are sharp but still not cutting. ant ideas would be great. thanks

x shaped clamps used to hold items make excellent honing guides. as always grind til "bur" is felt, then polish with hard wood. don't touch flat edge. make sure you don't have "lips" turned down or up (light steeling can produce 45 degree lip.the softer barely touching edge ) you go in the end , the more razor the edge becomes. this is after the bur is established.
