Try an old 5 gallon plastic water cooler for a minnow bucket. The bait is protected from excessive hot or cold temps and the plastic cover comes off with a quik slam on it... most can handle up to 300lbs so they make a great seat also.

Hay I like this idea.I have a 5 gal. minnow bucket with a foam liner water got between bucket and foam frozze and cracked the liner.When I thawled it out and tried to lift the liner out with the 4dozend minnows out well you know what happened.I tried to glue the liner back togather the stor told me they couldn't help me get a new liner so I've been fishing with a leeky liner for a year.I'm not going through that again.I'm going to home depot to get the water cooler Thanks Gene @ Gar Tackle

SMALL COLEMAN COOLER WORKS JUST AS GOOD BEEN USING SAME ONE FOR 5 YEARS NOW --- IN WINTER,WATER DOESN'T FREEZE AND IN THE SUMMER BAIT STAYS COOL---MAKES A GOOD JIGGING SEAT ON THE ICE TOO!!!
