two things , cut a "v" in the seat cover about 4 inches deep( depending on your needs)to allow for the longer items to stick out when you are carrying them. the next thing is to put a 4 inch deep v hindge (can`t think of the hindge name.)180 degrees from the opening and attach through the plastic pail with bolts or large rivits.you will never loose the seat this way and it will not fall apart.you will have to offset the seat a bit to allow it to open freely. carpet on top helps keep the hemmoroides at bay...i have as well made a metal rod holder and bolted in the "v" opening .allows for your hands to be free when taking off fish. |
