Got a Strikemaster 10", 3hp three years ago. Had problems with the clutch letting go which meant very slow, light-touch drilling. Didn't know this wasn't the norm. Strikemaster dealer finally admitted that there is a defect in the gearbox seals that allows oil/grease to contaminate the clutch surface if the drill is not sitting upright. Now have a Jiffy.
