I have a bottomline portable fish finder that I was using on the ice, mounted on a jig that I rigged up for the mount that was suppose to be used for the side of the boat.The fish finder is the one with the telescopic shaft and holds 3 c batteries in the handle.The thing I made was too big and bulky so I thought of something I should of thought of before.I cut out a 10in. by 10in. piece of 1/4in. plywood and cut a hole through the center about 2 1/2in. dia. It works great. Lays flat in the sled and is very light weight. Hope this helps someone out. Good luck on the hard water. |
