Drilling alot of holes in sub-zero weather can be a prob with a 10" auger in deep snow. The blades form ice and you can't drill, I tried some PAM cooking spray on the end. I could drill 20 holes without a problem. BigPete_ |

Posted At 22:37:07 01/23/2002 I have the Ultra mag 3 blade and use Rem-Drilube. This is a teflon coat that goes on dry. Last along time and doesnt come off easy. I tried the PAM and wd40 and wax but doesnt last as long as the teflon. Also silicon spray like STP works for a long time as well. I like the teflon coating better. |
