My first drill was a manual corkscrew in 1980, did not work well, I was told the shims were off. Returned it for a Jiffy Model 30 with a 9" blade and would purchase it again if I needed one. The first 10 years I was the only fisherman to have this expensive piece of equiptment, so it received a lot of abuse and never let me down here in Pennsylvania. (Going out now to check the local spots, if good I will borrow the spud bar or corkscrew for Saturday morning until the ice gets a good 5") |
