I have used both, they are both awsome! If you'd like to save a few buxs go with the zercomm, I have the older model a clearwater classic it was 200 dollars. I have to agree it seems easier to read the fish out from the interference better than the vex, one other thing I like about it is the battery runtime is like triple! Scott - www.iceshanty.com |

Posted At 09:45:36 12/21/2001 I agree with the statement that the zercom is a better buy. I had bought a zercom colorpoint from a co-worker for a 100 bucks he used it 3 times. I ve used the vexlar for about 5 years and its great but there becoming very expensive, If a guy was to up date with the fl18 craze!! The only bash is the colorpoint is as loud as my harley. But is all about having a good time catching fish! GOOD LUCK |
